5 Seconds of Summer 'kicked out of Hollywood bar for being underage'

5 Seconds of Summer 'kicked out of Hollywood bar for being underage'

Heading home: 5SOS's Michael Clifford looked dejected after the band were reportedly asked to leave West Hollywood nightspot The Nice Guy because they're under the legal drinking age in the US
Looking dejected, the foursome were spotted leaving the West Hollywood venue with some girls, with eyewitnesses claiming the group were asked to leave the lounge bar by police officers.
Mail Online has contacted a representative for the band for comment.

Hitting Hollywood, the 5 Seconds of Summer boys were probably hoping for a wild night out, but the band's evening came to a crashing halt on Saturday, according to reports.

The group were seen leaving Los Angeles nightspot The Nice Guy after cops reportedly asked them to leave for being underage.
With the legal drinking age 21 in the States, the Australian band's four members Luke Hemmings,18, Michael Clifford, 19, Calum Hood, 19 and Ashton Irwin, 20 all found themselves heading home early.

Bandmate Calum looked a little cheerier, flashing a smile as he chatted with his friends after the drama.
The bassist was matching Michael in a denim jacket and black skinny jeans.
Luke Hemmings continued the skinny jeans uniform, with the singer looking in glum spirits as he sat in the back of the band's car, as the group decided what to do with the rest of their night.
The foursome have been based in California as they work on their second album.
In between supporting One Direction on their One The Road Again tour last month in Japan, the band have been working hard on their new music over the past few weeks.

Despite the disappointing end to their night, Saturday started out as a productive day for the hit-makers, with Michael tweeting:
'fun day of recording our butts off with @Luke5SOS :) so excited for this damn record.'
Michael told Capital last week that fans won't have long to wait for the new music but their arena tour Rock Out With Your Socks Out, which continues in Portugal next month, is also keeping them busy.

'We've written most of it, and we're recording it now,' he explained. 'We'll release it when it's right, whether it's on the tour or at the end of the tour. New music will definitely be out this year.'
After working with Benji and Joel Madden on their hit 2014 single Amnesia, the band have confirmed they're working with the Good Charlotte duo for their sophomore album.
Luke teased: 'They've had a big role in the album this time, even more so than the last album. It's been really fun.'
'We really look up to them, their whole movement as a band. It's amazing they're on board with us. They're great dudes.'

Luke Hemmings And 5 Seconds Of Summer BREAKING NEWS: Band Disappoints Fans About New Album,
'We'll Release It When   It's Right'

Five Seconds of Summer had been churning out the sophomore release to their debut self-titled album prior to hitting the road for their "Rock Out With Your Socks Out" tour, but are in no rush to debut their new music to fans just yet.

Despite praising their fans at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards after winning Best Fan Army, the band is taking their time to perfect their new music before allowing even their most devoted fans to listen to it.
"Our fans are something else," revealed the band at the show. Guitarist Michael Clifford remarked after winning, "You know what's weird? It's the fact that we were up against like some of the biggest artists in the world. "They are like the big [fan] armies. Our fans, I'm telling you, are something else."
Although they are attempting to quickly finish up the record as they are on the road at the same time, the guys still feel that their new tunes are worth waiting for.
"We've written most of it, and we're recording it now. We'll release it when it's right, whether it's on the tour or at the end of the tour. New music will definitely be out this year," stated Clifford.
Despite the anticipation of new 5 SOS music, the band hopes fans will be satiated by the tunes of their latest discovery, Hey Violet. The band was recently signed to the Aussie hit maker's new record company, Hi Or Hey Records.
Hey Violet will join the band during their tour beginning May 4 in Portugal. The two groups will play Europe through June. Hey Violet will take a break from the tour during the New Zealand and Australia dates, but will join 5SOS again in July when they play North America. The tour will wrap up on Sept. 13 in West Palm Beach, Fl.
Of their latest musical discovery, drummer Ashton Irwin revealed, "We had an image of what we wanted the bands [we sign] to sound like and look like and stand for, and we saw them play and it was exactly what we wanted."
"We fell in love with them right away. It was an on-the-spot decision," said Irwin to Billboard about working with the band.
